Step 1 - Place your order

Get your order on our books: There is a $100 nonrefundable down payment for your beef at the time of your order, this will also go towards your order. Ordering is fast and easy. Call 616 994-3981 to get started now.

Costs: Our price includes the cost of our steer delivered to Byron Center Meats. Our price is $2.85/lb. on the hanging weight. That means you only pay for the actual meat, not the hide or all that other stuff we prefer not to think about. An average hanging weight for a quarter of one of our steers is 180-200 lbs.

Step 2 - Choose your beef quantity

When it comes to choosing your preferred portion of beef, whether it's a quarter, a half, or a whole steer, you can trust that you're selecting from some of the finest local Angus cross beef available. Angus beef is known to have a good ratio of lean meat to fat and bones. The meat is also well-marbled, making it tender and full of juicy flavors.

Step 3 - We will get some information to pass along

We will give the Byron Center Meats your name, phone number, and any other contact information they need to contact you.

Step 4 - You will be contacted by Byron Center Meats

Byron Center Meats will contact you to discuss how you want your beef cut. Never done it before? No worries, the friendly staff at Byron Center Meats will walk you through the process.

"What cuts do I get, and do I get steaks?" – Certainly! The friendly staff at Byron Center Meats have been in business since 1946 and they know meats! The staff will help you select your cuts based on your purchased portion of ¼ , ½ or whole steer. Here are some example yields to give you an idea of what cuts you may get:

Step 5 - Pickup your
processed beef

When your beef has been processed, Byron Center Meats

will contact you for pickup. You'll pay Byron Center Meats for their service and drive around the back to pick up your beef that has been cut, packaged, and frozen just for you. But the service does not stop there. The friendly staff at Byron Center Meats will load it into your vehicle for you. Now that's service.
