Why are there two separate charges when purchasing meat?

We at L & M Meats raise and sell the beef.  The purchase price for the beef is paid to L & M Meats.  Once the beef is purchased from L & M Meats, we have it sent to Byron Center Meats for processing, the processing fee is paid to Byron Center Meats.

No, L & M Meats will make arrangement to have the beef taken to Byron Center Meats.

Do I pay L & M Meats for the beef and the processing fee?

Accepted Answer

No, Byron Center Meats and L & M Meats are two separate business entities. Byron Center does take cash, check, or credit cards, but L & M meats takes only cash or check.  You can make payment arrangements for the beef when you place your order.

Can I leave a check for L & M Meats when I pickup the meat at Byron Center Meats?

Yes! Those arrangement are made when you order the beef.
